Band Profile - Eventide
Eventide was formed in 2006 from the ashes of the band Aqueon. Eventide consists of Josh Mercer [drums], Matt Hamlyn [guitar], Matt Bourgeois [bass], Paul Hunt [Guitar] and vocalist Matt Upshall. They are a shining light in the trite metal scene, combining the speed, dexterity and complexity of progressive stylings with characteristics of various genres ranging from Rock to Jazz. Eventide forge an original brand of music that features intellectual lyrics, haunting melodies and cerebral drumming that demand attention and repsect.
